Good teaching is listening. Every student has their own way of building a relationship with the instrument — my job is to find that path.
Yunjia Liu was born in China, studied in Australia and Germany, and now lives in Espoo. Classical training provides the foundation, but lessons move fluidly between genres — from blues to jazz, rock to flamenco.
Over a decade of teaching has shown one thing: there is no single "right" way to learn guitar. There is only this student's way, right now. Each lesson is tailored to the student's level, goals and learning style.
Performance experience spans concert halls and intimate club settings — experience that comes through in lessons whenever we discuss preparing for a performance or managing stage nerves.
